Based in Fargo, North Dakota, the Dan Brekke Band is a country jam band that blends classic outlaw country with the freewheeling spirit of southern rock and jam-band improvisation. Formed in 2022, the four-piece delivers tight original songs and extended, groove-heavy live sets driven by strong three-part vocals, guitar, fiddle, and organ.

The lineup features Dan Brekke on vocals, guitar, and fiddle; Travis Atwood on vocals and bass; Matthew “Sweet Pea” Tinjum on drums; and Al Berg on vocals, keyboards, and organ. Drawing from the songwriting of Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Jamey Johnson, the dual-guitar interplay of the Allman Brothers Band, the rootsy soul of The Band, and the modern edge of Sturgill Simpson, the group has carved out a sound that feels both timeless and alive.
